Philae Temple

The Philae Temple complex is situated on Agilkia Island in the reservoir of the Aswan Low Dam. Originally located on Philae Island, the temple was moved to its current location to save it from flooding caused by the Aswan High Dam. The main temple is dedicated to the goddess Isis and features a blend of Egyptian and Greco-Roman architecture. The site is renowned for its beautiful setting and historical significance. ​
